Don't Sleep on Copilot

The most useful AI might be the one you barely notice

Don't Sleep on Copilot

I noted today’s WSJ piece on with interest - particularly post their excellent earnings report earlier this week. While OpenAI and Anthropic grab the daily headlines, Microsoft keeps plugging away with Copilot.

As a user, I find myself using Copilot more and more often. I still use Claude and ChatGPT for “deep” research, but everywhere I go - Copilot seems to just be… there. It’s not flashy - but it’s useful - and that’s what matters.

As with most things Microsoft, the “cool” factor is missing - but if it’s ubiquitous and useful, users will use it. Based on my experience, I’d say Microsoft is making progress, and their financials suggest they are.
